Bookmaker:

Looking to make it back-to-back Premier League victories on Saturday lunchtime, Tottenham will travel to the Vitality when they meet Bournemouth.

Bournemouth

Starting with the hosts, eventually suffering a collapse away at Anfield last weekend as they suffered a 3-1 loss at the hands of Liverpool, Bournemouth are still seeking some stability since opening the 2023/24 campaign. Getting the new season underway on August 12th as they snatched a late 1-1 stalemate at home against West Ham, Andoni Iraola’s men will know that they face a stern challenge here. Doing an eye-catching job of dragging themselves away from a looming relegation scrap last season, the Cherries will also know the importance of finding some success at the Vitality. Including that 1-1 draw against the Hammers earlier in the month, Bournemouth have recorded just a single win from their last six Premier League showdowns on the south coast continuing on from last season. However, landing a shock 3-2 win when they travelled to north London back on April 15th, Iraola’s men will be desperate to produce a similar display here.

Team News

Dealing with a stacked injury list, Bournemouth will once again be without the likes of Marcus Tavernier, Adam Smith, Ryan Fredricks and summer arrival Alex Scott this weekend.

However, making his return from a knock away at Anfield last weekend and making his first Premier League appearance of the season, 24-year-old Lloyd Kelly should make a full return on Saturday lunchtime. Attacking talisman Dominic Solanke will spearhead Bournemouth’s charge here.

Tottenham

As for the visitors, putting in a stellar second-half display at home against Manchester United last weekend as they landed an eye-catching 2-0 win, Tottenham certainly appear to be enjoying life under new boss Ange Postecoglou. Mustering four points from their opening two Premier League appearances, Spurs have quickly gained a reputation for their performances in the final third. Entirely missing out on a European ticket last season and coming under a huge amount of scrutiny, the former Celtic boss is now dreaming of the chance to mount a top-four charge. Coping well since they watched England skipper Harry Kane make the move to German heavyweights Bayern Munich this summer, Tottenham should be smelling the chance to make another statement here. It should also be noted, Spurs claimed a 3-2 victory when they last travelled to the Vitality 10 months ago.

Team News

Still dealing with a long-term knee injury and yet to make a Premier League appearance this season, Tottenham will be without midfield talisman Rodrigo Bentancur on Saturday lunchtime. Likewise, 23-year-old Ryan Sessegnon remains on the sidelines.

Bagging his first Premier League goal against Manchester United last weekend, 20-year-old Pape Matar Sarr will once again partner Yves Bissouma in the middle of the park.
